Meet Jackie, Marketing Specialist within the Healthcare Industry.
What’s the best piece of career advice ever given to you?
The simple truth that *you* have to be your best and biggest cheerleader.
How do you define success?
To me, success is more than climbing a corporate or career ladder. The impact I leave on others is what matters most. My success comes from the network and relationships I have built thus far in my professional journey.
In moments of self-doubt, how do you build yourself back up?
Even in the most stressful circumstances, I remind myself that self-doubt is also self-sabotage. With the right mindset, we can truly do anything that we set our mind to.
What’s the biggest lesson you’ve learned in your career to date?
ALWAYS trust your gut - it is the best resource you have.
Where’s your favorite place to recharge or network in Philly?
My favorite place to recharge is any outdoor space where I can walk, run or relax. For me, Philly’s historic streets are the hidden gems of the city. I could walk around for hours discovering new homes, stores, restaurants, parks, art or details that I’ve never noticed before.
My success comes from the network and relationships I have built thus far in my professional journey.
What advice would you give to someone hoping to break into your career
path/industry?
Marketing can often be undervalued and overlooked. Be sure to work for a company or organization that understands the importance of marketing and supports its value.
