What’s your favorite thing about living or working in Philly?
Having lived out of state for 12 years, I appreciate the history, culture character, and diversity of Philly’s people, architecture and seasons.
How do you define success?
My definition of success is evolving constantly. I was stuck for many years thinking that my “career path” would be straight-forward and less challenging than it has been. I have a strong work ethic and sharp sense of integrity. I’m learning that detours happen in life and with careers. Lessons are meant to be learned and success is mostly about attitude and setting positive example for others.

Where’s your favorite place to recharge or network in Philly?
I love hiking, walking and biking and sometimes crying my eyes out in Valley Green. Every season of the year there is so much to see and appreciate.
How and where do you find inspiration?
My biggest inspiration is my mom and the family she raised through the various challenges of care-taking (career nurse), child-rearing, marriage, illness, friendships (new and long-standing). Her example of resilience and compassion has given me strength to JUST KEEP SWIMMING!
